This is one of the very first vintage textiles I collected from a local dealer and an all-time favorite. It is said to have been owned by a women who traveled the "Orient" back in the 1950's. It's like an Asian panel of shimmery silver and gold with shades of green graphics and striking black ferns across the front. We've backed it in gold velvet and added black velvet piping.
Our studio handcrafted one of these to donate to Design on a Dime Benefit for the vignette of international interior consultant Jonathan Legate. It also was recently featured in the 2020 Austin Modern Home Tour; sofa photography by Adeline Rock.
